About the Positive Connection
The Positive Connection
Founded in 2006 by Paula Pagan, The Positive Connection is a trusted, family-run counseling practice serving Suffolk and Nassau Counties on Long Island. With a strong commitment to emotional wellness and professional development, we offer compassionate, client-centered counseling services to individuals and families across our communities.
In addition to clinical services, The Positive Connection supports the growth of fellow professionals by providing Continuing Education Unit (CEU) programs for Social Workers and Case Managers. Our CEU offerings are designed to be practical, engaging, and aligned with current best practices in mental health and social services.
Expanding on our mission to foster healthy relationships and resilient workplaces, we now offer customized corporate trainings for local businesses. These trainings focus on improving communication, supporting employee mental health, and building positive workplace cultures.
At The Positive Connection, we believe that healing and growth happen through genuine human connection. As a family-run business, we’re proud to bring that spirit into everything we do — from therapy rooms to training seminars.
